When should I RSVP?

The last day to RSVP is on April 25, 2025.

How can I RSVP?

RSVPs are through the website only. On the upper right hand corner of the website click the RSVP box. You can search any member’s name in your party and it will allow you to RSVP for each member or your group.

What is the dress code?

The dress code is formal. Please see our ‘Details’ page for attire description and colour palette.  Please refer to https://www.theknot.com/content/formal-wedding-attire#what-is-formal-attire-for-2 for a guide on  formal dress codes. 

What will the weather be like? Will the wedding be indoors/outdoors?

June is the beginning of the summer season in Vancouver with temperatures averaging between 18 degrees to 22 degrees Celsius. Both the church and reception venue will be indoors.  The reception venue will be air conditioned.

What is the parking situation?

Our Lady of Mercy has a parking lot with ample of parking spaces for everyone.

Rosewood Hotel Georgia provides a valet only parking for The full day/over night valet rate is $65 or $40 for 3 hours. Valet charges can be settled with the valet. There are also multiple parking garages within a minute walk to the hotel.  You can find a list here.

Alternatively, both locations are accessible by Uber and public transportation. Rosewood Hotel Georgia is 5 minutes walk to the Granville Skytrain Station and 3 minutes to Vancouver City Centre Station.

We request our guests to drink responsibly and to not drink and drive.

Can I bring a plus 1 or my kids?

The celebration will be invite only. Please only come with invited guests as there are limitations to the venue capacity.  While we love children, we have chosen to keep the wedding an adult only event, we appreciate your efforts to celebrate with us.   

What are the food options? I have dietary restrictions.

Food will be served buffet style. There will be vegan/vegetarian and gluten free options  available in the selection. However, please let us know in advance if you have any severe allergies or dietary restrictions when you RSVP.

Can I take my own photos and videos?

The ceremony will be an unplugged ceremony. Please turn off all devices and enjoy being fully present in this moment with us.  There will be an official photographer, and videographer present during the entire wedding to document and allow us to relive the day.  

Before and after the ceremony, and during down times at the reception, guests are free and encouraged to take as many photos, and selfies as they would like.

Leading up to the wedding, please feel free to message either Andro or Briana for any questions and inquiries.  Three days before the wedding, we will provide contact details of our coordinator who will be able to answer your questions at that time.
